Honestly, I couldn’t recommend it highly enough if you’re looking to book somewhere ☺️ The hosts Sarah and Jo go above and beyond and are great.

They gave us a tour when we first got there so we knew how to use everything and then they leave you to your own devices but are a call away should you need it. We got hampers on arrival, the softest robes, and slippers for the spa. The gym, and the hot tub even have built-in speakers so you can connect your phone for music, etc. Netflix in the room. There’s a lovely pub a 3-minute walk away which my boyfriend and I got some food in beforehand.

Honestly, you don’t want for anything in this place. We had the best time, the pictures don’t even do it justice. It’s very rare these days that things actually look better in real life than online but I can safely say this place exceeded every expectation we had.

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday as a surprise and it was amazing! You have a vast array of facilities at your disposal including the gym and spa which you have sole access to making this a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Sarah and Joe were fantastic hosts and upon arrival showed us around and gave us a quick intro to the different pieces of equipment and how to use them. Everything was spotless and very well presented.

As a birthday treat my husband and I rented the spa at St Ives Barns in Peldon. It was fantastic, everything 5 stars and right on our doorstep. We had a gym complete with a Peloton bike and a very sturdy treadmill. Then a huge pool with treadmill and swimming resistance feature as well as a very comfortable jacuzzi with powerful jets and an infrared sauna all to ourselves. Well worth a look if it's your thing or like us wanted to do something different.
